Home-based CSCA test requirements
Home-based CSCA testing has strict computer, network, room, and secondary-device requirements. macOS is not supported in the official handbook.

The home-based test handbook is one of the most important resources for remote test takers. It sets requirements for the main computer, network, room, and monitoring setup.
The primary device must be a physical Windows computer. The official handbook says macOS is not supported. Remote desktop, cloud computers, virtual machines, WSL/WSL2, Hyper-V, Windows Sandbox, and VBS are not allowed.
The computer should use a single physical monitor, at least 1366x768 display resolution, and at least 4GB RAM. A secondary device is required for rear-side room monitoring.
The network requirement is strict: symmetric upload and download bandwidth of at least 20Mbps, with sustained speed of at least 500KB/s. The testing room should be independent, quiet, well-lit, enclosed, and clear of unauthorized items.
