Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) is located in Shanghai, a major metropolitan area in eastern China known for its global economic and cultural significance. Founded in 1896 as Nanyang Public School, it is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in China, with a history spanning over a century. The university has expanded to include multiple campuses, such as Xuhui, Minhang, and Huangpu, offering a comprehensive range of academic programs across engineering, science, medicine, business, and humanities.
