Climate

Changsha has a humid subtropical climate. Winters are cool and damp (average low 5°C in January), while summers are hot and humid (average high 33°C in July) — the city is one of China's traditional "Four Furnaces." Rainfall is heaviest in April–June. Autumn is generally the most pleasant season.
