Ningbo University

Ningbo University (NBU) is located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China. Founded in 1986 with the support of the 'World Bank' loans and donations from patriotic overseas Chinese, the university has developed into a comprehensive university covering a full range of disciplines including economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, and management. The main campus is situated in the Jiangbei District of Ningbo. The university operates multiple colleges and offers a wide array of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. NBU is designated by the Chinese Ministry of Education to offer the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program in English for international students, with an annual intake capacity of 50 seats. The university actively engages in international cooperation and exchange, establishing partnerships with numerous universities and institutions worldwide. It hosts international students from many countries and offers various programs in both Chinese and English. NBU's strengths include fields such as engineering, materials science, and fisheries science, supported by a number of provincial and ministerial-level key laboratories and research centers.
